I have been with Cut Fitness for almost 2 years now. Thinking back about 3 years ago and what got me to this point, I was always a runner. For the last 15 plus years I have been running at least one half marathon a year. I would train/work out year round, running anywhere between 20-40 miles per work with 6 days on and 1 day off. I was in shape. I didn’t have think about dieting, or strength training, I was in shape! Then it happened, I started to second guess myself. I wasn’t beating my best time anymore and even went out too strong in a race and had to walk towards the end. It wasn’t my knees or my joints, I didn’t know what it was, but I wanted to explore more strength training as a solution. My wife had started and a new gym and was taking Spin with Eddie. I was hesitant to join, but she talked me into taking a spin class with her. It was an intense workout and I was curious. Next class was TRX Tabata style. WOW this was the moment I realized running did not keep me in the shape I could be in. I was sore from that one class for at least 2 days. That was it for me, I was hooked. I started taking 3-5 classes a week and within no time I could feel the difference and see the change in my strength, especially my core. About 6 months in, I got on board with the training tool My Zone, and I’m tracking my performance of every workout in and out of the gym. My Zone is a second virtual trainer that’s keeps me on track, constantly providing the data to help me reach my goals. I am a bit competitive and My Zone is a constant competition with myself. Fast forward almost a year, 3-5 classes a week and I’m in the best shape of my life, now what? About six months ago I discovered clean eating, propelling my fitness even further. Cut Fitness took me places and directions in my fitness level I didn’t even know existed. The one thing I always look back to, I was never afraid to put in the hard work it takes to be fit, I just needed the guidance in how and where to put those efforts. Cut Fitness has provided that guidance and I have never been heathier or happier. Cut Fitness changed my life, and continues to challenge my fitness in new and exciting directions daily.
